The only responses I got were: 'Unfortunately we don't support MAC VPN client. We have no way of knowing how to set it up.'
They then recommended a couple of 3rd party VPN clients, IPSecuritas, and eqinux VPNTracker. I would really rather use the Mac OS X built-in VPN client.
My biggest concern with VPN configurations is that there doesn't seem to be a standardized vocabulary for the configurations. It is not at all clear how the field values in the Mac VPN client configuration in InternetConnect.app correspond to those in the Netgear FVS338 VPN configuration.
With Netgear saying 'we know nothing about Macs', I'm relying on someone at Apple or in the Mac community to help me out on this one.
